Rudolf Rassendyll is an English gentleman who decides to travel to Ruritania to attend the coronation of King Rudolf V, the king of Ruritania. Rudolf Rassendyll has a Ruritanian blood, so he looks exactly like King Rudolf, who he meets by chance while hiking in Zenda. When the king is kidnapped by his evil brother, Black Michael, Rudolf Rassendyll has to impersonate the king and save him, even if this mission will break his heart.
